"Abigail", is a one of a kind artist made doll and the sister doll to "Sarah", both dolls were named after my precious granddaughter "Sarah Abigail". 
The "Sarah" doll is SOLD and not available for sale.  However,  Marie Osmond's doll company commissioned "Abagail" to reproduce a factory version of my original in a limited edition of dolls named "Catherine Elizabeth".  Thus my "Abagail" became the prototype for "Catherine Elizabeth" whose limited edition SOLD OUT on QVC this past August.

 There are MAJOR differences bettween my original,  "Abagail" and the factory version of the doll, "Catherine Elizabeth":

#1. There is only ONE Abigail doll, & she is sculpted & entirely handmade by myself, the artist. I believe there are about 200 "Catherine Elizabeth" (CE), dolls in Marie Osmond's limited edition. CE is factory made using molds made from my original Abigail sculpture.

  #2. Abigail is hand painted by myself, with careful details that include shading on the lips and delicately painted hands with  French manicured fingernails. CE is painted by various factory artists, painting is nice but not as detailed, especially not the lips, hands & fingernails.

#3. Abigail has a slight wax over porcelain finish which gives her a realistic glow, however, there has been much controversy as to whether CE has a wax finish or not. Seems like some of the dolls had a very slight wax finish & others had not.

#4. Abigail is 31" tall & has a jointed leatherette body,  CE is only about 24" tall & has a cloth body.

#5. Abigail has beautiful GREEN solid GLASS paperweight eyes. CE has BLUE plastic (pabol) eyes.

 #6. Abigail has a soft & silky 100% HUMAN HAIR wig. CE's wig is synthetic.

#7. Abigail's costume is made of the finest silks and hand decorated with handmade rosettes, ribbons, beads & embroidered flowers.  CE's costume is a factory reproduction made with low cost fabrics & not as elaborate or detailed as Abigail's.

#8. Abagail has a lovely corset & bustle pad made of silk dupioni.  CE does not have a corset & bustle pad included with her undergarments. 

#9. Abagail has beautifully detailed cotton and imported lace slip and pantaloons.  CE's slip & pantaloons are factory made using ordinary factory fabric & lace.

#10. Abagail has hand made crocheted gloves.  CE has factory made lace gloves.

#11. Abagail has hand made LEATHER SHOES with HEELS that were made by a dear friend, Greta Smith, who passed away last June.  CE shoes are a factory made synthetic copy with no heels.

#12. Abagail comes with a silvery peach ornament as she was originally designed to be a Victorian Christmas doll.  CE does not come with an ornament.

#13. Abagail comes with a lovely tapestry covered stand, CE also comes with a "tapestry" covered stand,  but the tapestry fabric is of a lesser quality.

#14. Abagail comes hand signed by myself, the artist, and with a special COA.  CE comes with Marie Osmond's COA and is factory signed,  not hand signed.
